V-Lite Power Awnings. Do they have the Wind Sensor

Just wondering if the A&E power awing on our V-Lite 30 WRLS that we pick up next friday will have a wind sensor for the awing? I cannot seem to find any info anywhere to confirm or deny it..

Thanks

Best bet is to check the manual when you get it. Just because someone else may have it on thier trailer may not mean you have the same model awning as things can and do change. For what it's worth I have found that the wind sensor on our power awning is about useless. We have been at the beach where the wind is gusting and blowing the awning all over the place but it will not roll up. Then we have had it roll away with a gentle but steady 12mph wind. The wind has to be steady not gusting for it to work. Useless....

I can't speak for the 2011's but my 2010 V-Lite w/ power awning does not have a wind sensor. The dealer never said anything about it being an option. I can't believe they would have failed to mention it with as options we went thrrough.

Our 2010 8315BSS with power awning does not have the wind sensor, nor was it available as an option as far as I am aware. My suspicion is that that they are fitted or optional on the higher end Motorhomes. (Helps justify the stratospheric cost - LOL and just kidding !!)

OLD POST!!! CHECK THE DATE in the upper left dark green area. The O.P. has owned their camper almost a year! No wind sensor on mine either, BTW! Randy
