Vanity hole
Going through our new to us 2015 8528IKWS there is a nice large (12×12) framed hole under the vanity that goes into the storage bay. Anyone have an idea what this is? According to FR customer service It is a laundry shoot (sic). Can that really be? Thanks

Wife didn't want it, so I put some cut to fit 1/4 inch white Melamine in. Can be removed if needed.

We like the one in ours. We don't have to find a place inside for laundry.

Yep....a laundry chute. We have a piece of plywood covering it to keep heat in/cold air out and not loose anything down there by accident.

Yes it is a a laundry shute. We had the same question and got our answer. Good idea this way you can get rid of dirty clothes until ready to wash. We have a mesh clothes basket we set up in the bay under the shute. Very light and folds flat when not in use.
