If they offer a 2nd AC the roof is probably ok as I doubt they would change the framing based on if it is getting the 2nd air or not, there is a fair chance you will even find the wires ran to it.

adding a 2nd AC

I have a 2016 Primetime Crusader Lite that was not wired for a 2nd. AC, follows is the work around to adding one. The cutout for the sky light in our bedroom was the exact size that was called for the installation of AC unit. I did have to close off the front and rear side of the opening, but the structure of the roof was strong enough to support the weight of the unit. It supported my weight at 295 lbs. The unit I installed was a Dometic 15K non ducted with ceiling controls. 6 guage wiring was added by running from ceiling opening, across ceiling, down the outside wall, through the floor to a 20 amp circuit breaker, used a house type breaker and box. Wiring was then ran to a 30 amp plug, same as came with the trailer. Mounted this plug in skirting on bottom of trailer and brace with steel bracket underneath. I use a standard 30 amp rv electrical cable to plug in campground post. I have pictures of the installation if you would like to have. Send your request to "Walholler@hotmail.com". Remember, if there is a will, then there is a way.
