Wardrobe slide owners

We have a 2016 26RLWS. I'm not sure my wardrobe slide is going out as far as it's supposed to. We asked the dealer and he says it is but the gap seems pretty big. I've included a picture. Does this look right? Thanks!

We have a 8289WS with a wardrobe slide. When the slide is out there is no gap like what I see in your picture. Looks like yours could use some adjustment.

You could go to any dealer and look at RV's with the wardrobe slide extended. I think you will see no gap like what is in your picture

When it is about 1/2 out, you can see all the chains and cables and there is an adjustment there for the "stop".

Thanks everyone. I've been researching how to adjust it. I'll be doing it myself, if possible. Thanks again.

Not having any luck finding documentation on how to adjust the slide travel. Does anyone know where I can find adjustment information? Thanks.

I really appreciate the links but they aren't for the slide we have. Ours is a Lippert/Schwintech in-wall slide.

Finally found documentation. Just in case anyone else should ever need these: https://www.lci1.com/support-in-wall%C2%AE-slide-out

Are you holding the control for 5 to 10 seconds after the slide reaches its stops either when opening or closing as recommended by the mfg?

Different slide, but I caught something similar during our pdi. Two of my four slides were not seating properly when fully extended. 3" gap between the lip of the slide and the seal on one side. The slides were cockeyed.

We are holding the button and I tried "retiming" it hoping that would have some affect but it did not. I've got a call in to our dealer.

We have a Flagstaff 8528RSWS with the wardrobe slide and there is no gap like in your picture. Have the dealer adjust the cables and you should be fine...

If you look on the wall behind the slide sides when fully retracted you will see that beside the seal mounted on the wardrobe there is a plastic channel mounted to the wall that has a rubber gasket that slides in place over the plastic. The two seals are what causes it to protrude. You will need to occasionally put some kind of lube on the rubber wall seal as they will probably stick together at some point. Recently had that pleasure when setting up at a campground and it pulled the wall seal out of the channel. It was great fun placing it back. In the mean time I used baby powder on the seals to prevent sticking.
Good Luck.

I have the 2018 Flagstaff 27RLWS and my wardrobe looks exactly like yours when opened. I noticed I have a cushion at the top of the slide that is against the wall. I called the dealer and I was told the slide is extended completely. I was told the gap is due to the slide motor sitting on top of the slide. If you find different please let me know, my trailer is still under warranty but I live a ways from the dealer and don't want to haul it over there unless necessary.

We have a 2604WS Rockwood and I am pretty sure it is the same slide. Ours stared not going all the way out like your photo. Problem ended up being a bad motor.

If you will read my previous reply to OP you will see that it is designed that way. Your dealer is absolutely correct. Have had our 27RLWS for over 2 years and never a problem with the wardrobe slide except for side seals sticking as indicated in original reply. Relax and enjoy your new TT. Except for some minor glitches with ours which I have taken care of we are extremely pleased with the TT especially the floor plan.
