When one is backing the rv in one needs the spotter to look up 14’ for limbs. Easy to miss.

Those branches will get you.

They’ll find somebody to blame it on.

Sometimes it seems odd why a tree will do that.... May be 50-75 or more years standing and poof part of it breaks off. I am sure there is a reason most of the time, but it still makes me wonder why today? When it has been through hundreds of storms.

I would love for that to happen every 2-3 years to my trailer. Heck, smash the truck flat as well! That way I can collect on them both and buy new every 2-3 years! Otherwise, my wife would never allow it.

Careful what you wish for... happened to me and the insurance paid what it was worth.
Still a PIB and now you owe more(assuming), you gotta RV shop(which is fun), work out the bugs and deal with all of it. Pretty sad and stressful as one of your children has passed away....almost.

Some large trees have a finite age range. Water Oaks, for example, look really elegant when 30 or 40 years old, but that's when the start dropping limbs like the one in the picture.

That guy had no insurance, sadly. No one was hurt. Had owned it for 2 weeks, and your question was my question, why no insurance? He said he just kept forgetting to do it. Hell, I would have had insurance on it before it even rolled from where I bought it from. My luck sucks like his apparently,..
