Water drain
Can anyone help me. I found a drain under our sofa. We recently bough a 2010 Flagstaff Micro Lite 25DS. Not sure why a drain is needed under the sofa

Looks more like a fill hose or perhaps a flush.
What is outside?

Sorry, I meant what is outside on the wall right where that is?
The second IMG looks like an overflow tube because it is not capped.

Nothing on the outside. This mounted under the sofa slideout. Here's another look.

Never seen one before, but almost looks like a catch pan and drain for any water that may get past the seals? Is there one of those contraptions on the other end of the slide? Did you purchase this camper new? Reason I ask, is just curious if this was a quick fix for a leak.

They are drains for any water that comes by slide seals. I have a 2014 Rockwood 2109s and it has them at both ends of the sofa on the slide.

Thanks Bojangles. I thought it might be for possible slideout leaks. I just hope I never see any leaks!

That's pretty scary if for slide seals, do you have toppers to prevent the seal leaks, not catch it? Seems like putting the cart before the horse.....

I'm not sure what "toppers" are. Also I bought this used so I don't know if this was a factory fix or not. It does seem odd that FR would install a drip pan for a possible leak

Sorry a "topper" is a small awning that opens with the slide and keeps rain etc off the slide top when open. Its got overhang on all sides to help keep water from the seals. On a 2nd look, the sealing outside does not look 4 years old. I'd ask the seller if known what that rig is for.

I bought my trailer new in October of 2013 and those were in it when I bought it. I did have a slide topper installed before I picked up the new trailer. When you retract the slide if it is raining the seals wipe the side of the slide as it is retracted and those drains catch any water that drips off during that time and drains it outside instead of on your floor.

Our old Grey Wolf had them too. I never noticed any water going through them, but they were there. Wouldn't work on flush floor slides.
