Water Filter on 831RLBss

What is the best or easiest way to bypass or do away with the water filter under the entertainment system? It is a pain to have to empty it each time you store the camper in the winter. We do quite a bit of winter camping and have to empty the canister each time. We have an in-line filter on the incoming water line so we don't use the built in filter.
Thanks for your advice in advance

If you're handy at some basic plumbing, it's easy to do. You'll need to measure the distance between the existing inlet/outlet fittings of the filter and make up a length of pipe (plastic or galv) with the mating fittings. Remove the entire filter housing and replace with the piece you made up.

You can buy a 1/2" - 6" or 8" long PVC nipple at the home ctrs and then connect it to the filter inlet and outlet hoses. I do this as part of my winterizing.
