Got back from camping for a few days and decided to repair the damage from a blown tire back in May. The curb side wheel well plastic was torn up so I took a knife and cut the loose pieces and stapled the remainder back up in place with 1/2" pneumatic staples. The water pump was turned on and some time later when measuring for a new piece of plastic wheel well liner I noticed water dripping out. I have a sinking feeling that the water lines run on the curb side from the shower forward to the front kitchen-water heater etc. and I put a staple into a line.
Does anyone know if the water lines are routed directly above the wheel well and if so what is the best way to access them for repair?
I'm thinking block the frame, remove wheels. remove plastic liner and take a hole saw and drill an exploratory hole to confirm my suspicions?
Started looking for the leak today. Took all the new parts I installed yesterday, plus a little more. The water lines run in metal channels and are exposed for about 6" in the wheel well. I believe I stapled through the channel about 10" forward of the exposed section. So only way to repair the lines is to remove the oven in the kitchen and remove the shower stall in the back.
I go back to work tomorrow, so will be next weekend before I try to pull new lines in. Hopefully no more surprises.
Wow your knee deep into to that repair. Your will be a qualified RV technician when your done with all that. Good luck with this and keep us posted on your progress.

I don't know the exact details of your issue but from what I saw from your picture you should be able to just make a cut in the oven compartment, pull it back to where you put the staple into it cut it out and use a "Shark" coupler to rejoin the tubing. Then use a shark connector to rejoin the PEX pipe.
