Water pumps....
Why are most camper water pumps so loud? Im thinking they are diaphram type pumps and not circulation pumps. Don't they make a quiet water pump for a camper? Hopefully my new 524rlws FR will be quiet because its under the floor!

They're usually loud because they're mounted on a giant sounding board with nothing to isolate them from that board. You can mount them with isolating bolts and quiet them down. Do a search and you'll find what some folks have done.
Where they're at is a big piece, too. Under your bunk is bad. Opposite end of the TT from where you sleep or hang out is good.

Best of luck with your wish. So, you are aware of this unspoken pain we live with...
What others have done to fix this is here. In the search bar above enter:
water pump mouse pad

It's usually the pipes vibrating against the cabinets, not the pump itself.

Try a different pump. I never stay with the cheapo that came with the rig.

I'm not too far off from doing this. Going with a quieter pump AND isolating it when I install it.

Pumps with more chambers are quieter. I like the variable speed computer ones.

I put a piece of firm rubber under ours and then pipe insulation around the connected water hoses anywhere they touched anything or went through to another compartment. Now the only problem I have is hearing it to see when it shuts off after initial priming

I used part of a towel under it. I check it every so often to ensure it remains dry.

I'm going to add an accumulator tank to mine in the fall so the pump doesn't run as much. Its awfully loud when someone gets up at night to use the restroom.
