Water Pure cartridge

Need help in finding a replacement cartridge for my water filter. I have a
water pure filter which takes a cci-10-c filter and have to travel 100 miles
to my dealer for a filter but I have a culligan dealer within 10 miles. My question can I use a culligan filter, if so what number (they look the same and measure the same hole and length size)
Thanks for any help

I got mine at Lowe's, I used a whirlpool whole house filter. I think it was around 10-15 for a 2 pack.

Just like John Deere wants you to buy their oil and filters to change the oil in you lawnmower, Chey wants you to use their oil and filters...you get the drift...go to Wally World, Lowes, Home Depot, etc and get a filter...in the house we have found the ones with charcol in them that cost about $12.00 for two at the box stores work really well!

They are many filters. Here is some general information on your selection. The smaller the micro the lower the water pressure in your rig.

Whirlpool offers a variety of whole house water filters on the market. Each model ensures that you have clean, pure, filtered water.
Below is a list of their whole house filter models:

WHKF-DWHBB ( Large Capacity Filtration Housing)- long-lasting filter life.

WHKF-GD25BB(Large Capacity Replacement Filter-PP filter) - perfect for sediment reduction.

WHKF-WHPLBB(Large Capacity Replacement Filter-Pleated Filter)- long lasting filter life.

WHKF-DWHV(Premium Filtration System)- concerned about residue? This model eliminates them perfectly.

WHKF-DWH(Standard filtration system)- excellent point of entry and appropriate for households with one to four persons.

WHKF-GD05(2PK W/HOUSE DROPIN FLTR)- with a micron nominal level of 5, this is suitable for households with one to four persons.

WHKF-WHPL(STD WHOLE HOUSE PLEATED FILT TWIN)- Micron minimal level 20 and a filter life of 3 months. Also effectively reduces sediments.

WHKF-WHSW(STD WHOLE HOUSE STRING WOUND FILT)- filter life 3 months and effectively reduces sediments in water.

I bought a 5 micron filter from Home depot and installed it friday when I got to my campsite - with the original filter I did not have water pressure issues - with this new filter I do - the one I bought has a purple colored top

I was told to get a filter with charcoal but didnt see anything higher then 5 microns - I think I got the wrong filter unless the place I was at had low water pressure
