Weak flow via water pump.

Tried to flush out the water tank today and wound up with very weak stream at all faucets.

Put bleach and water into fw tank and filled the lines via city water.

Pump runs but very slow flow.

Did I miss something

Did you clean the strainer at the pump? There is a small screen stainer located on the inlet side of the pump, it may need cleaning!

Also check to see if the inlet connections at the pump are hand tight, if loose this could cause your pump to suck air into the system, there fore causing low water pressure.

How bout the 5 or 10 micro whole house filter, if it was left in all winter maybe plugged with ? Remove it for your test and replace if you desire.
