Au Contraire, I modified one to hang on the bbq rail on our 5er.

Aw I believe you.

But I bet you can't make the coffee maker itself!

LOL, the DW and kids complain every year because when I want something I buy it and they have no idea what to get me. To placate them I've taken to using the Amazon wish list feature. Their dilemma is solved and I get what I will really use.

So the answer to your question is, I first ask myself if I really will use it or it's just a shiny object attracting my attention. My general rule is to stew on it for a week or two thinking about it and shopping around. As for camper add-ons, the posts on this site were a great source of info on things I didn't even know about.

I think this forum should come with a warning:

Just bought a second fire extinguisher, not because we need it (least I hope not) but it had 20% off and it was a good size for the rig. Now to figure out where best to install it without it being obtrusive.

I already know that next month, while in WA and MT, we are looking to buy a coffee table and I need to buy the stand and low pressure gas connector for the RVque II grill. I'll get these shipped to a campground we will be staying at. After that. I think I'm done.........until something that I didn't know I didn't need and now can't live without, catches my eye.
