I tried this approach once. But soon learned that by treating the DW like a queen make a more enjoyable trip.

Don't worry about the email or posts, I'll give her a call in a few minutes.

I own a travel trailer and I don't do 2,3,4,5,6,7,9. Too much work! I'm lazy. For me it's all about relaxation and easy set-up, easy take-up. After backing in, I level the trailer, set-up the electric and water and then play with the kids.

I just got my first Travel Trailer in July.
Did the LED Awning Lights, so they just stay up.

We don't stay at alot of full hookup's, so the first thing I do, is stop in the campground and fill the fresh water tank.

When I pull in to a site, the first thing I do is plug up the electric, and make sure the microwave clock comes on. No sense is leveling only to find out the electric box is broke.
Then level side to side if needed, and chalk the wheels.
Take the truck off the hitch and then level the front to back.
Then set the jacks
Hook up the dogs
Unload the Beer cooler
Pull the awning down
Plug up the LED lights
Set up 2 chairs and a fabric table
Attach the RVQ and Side table
Finally, set up the Direct TV dish and receiver.

All in all, about 30 minutes of work.

Besides the basic's of setting up the trailer we set up chairs, a table, Camp Chef Pro 90 outside stove and a wood pellet grill. In good weather we do most of our cooking outdoors.

After leveling and hooking up what utilities we need (usually only electricity) putting slides out DH does the outside while I do the inside. Which isn't really a whole lot.

Outside is hubby's job as well as for the packing up-- unload cooler and dog kennel. chairs and set up rug if needed. Dog tie out. Here lately he has been putting out the rope lights that go on the ground around the fiver. (Don't have the heart to tell him he is doing it backwards but hey it's done)

Inside is my job along with packing up as well. Put out dog bowls, small fan in bedroom and setting alarm clock. soap in bathroom and handtowels. Put out bowl of fresh fruit and then glass of wine for me. (DH has already been in the cooler for his beer)

DD is responsible for her bathroom and room.

Somethings will eventually make thier way our over the course of the trip, small folding table to set drink on, a yard flag and some cintronella candles. As someone else mentioned, whatever you bring and put out you must pack up. We can pack and bust camp within 30 minutes if needed. We also often pack some things up the night before after we are done sitting around the campfire so it is easier to do in the morning and not putting away damp dewey items. We also do some things as we prepare for our trip or as we go. Like treating the waste tanks. When we empty trash cans from trip before I automatically replace liners. I make a list of items needed during our trips for the next time so that when I am at the grocery store I will pick them up and replace instead of trying to get everything at once right before. Also I am big on if you get something out and if you are done with it to put it up. Drives me crazy to see a million things strung out everywhere.
