Where can you buy heat tape?

I have a looked around and I can not find anyone that sells heat tape. Any idea who sells it? I was thinking of using it on some of the water lines.

Might have to ask in lowes or HD. Sometimes in places where u would think it would be. They should be able to get to the area where they put it.

They wrap headers in race cars with tape.

Last fall when we were full timing I got everything I needed at Lowes, including a 5 gallon bucket and a drop light. The drop light was plugged in and hung on the faucet. The bucket placed over everything. This prevents faucet freezing down to below zero.

I have it wrapped on my pipes in the well house. Lowes and it came with its own stat that turns it on. A plumbing supply house also carry them.

Don't forget Grainger. Different tape options available and industrial quality if you might want something a bit sturdier.
