Where to put Toilet paper holder... or leave it off?

We have the V-Lite 30 WTBS. In the bathroom (which I really like) I found a toilet paper roll holder that was not installed.

For now we've just been tucking the paper up in the little cubby shelf just by the toilet, but I'm wondering if those with similar bathroom layouts have installed the toilet paper holder or left it off, and if so, where?

I can't figure out the right place to put it where it's easy to reach when sitting on the toilet, but yet not in the way when you are moving around the bathroom.

Thoughts?

We have a 30wfkss and put ours on the bathroom door, but your bathroom is different than yours.

We didn't install ours. We just bought one of those weighted base TP holders at Bed Bath & Beyond.

Some folks put it on the inside of the vanity door. In ours, I mounted it on an 1/8" alum plate and used outside double sided tape and mounted it to the shower wall. So far, it has worked great.

Dilger/Slideout - I thought about getting one of those stands for the TP as well.

I like what you did, DunnNC, but we have the tub with the flexible rubber curtain so no shower door...

Frankly, stowing it in the little cubby is working fine for now, but I figure Forest River had SOME location in mind for the TP holder, since they included it in the TT, and I thought maybe I was missing something obvious.

See, I WAS missing something obvious... That must be where they planned it to go as the cabinet door even opens the right way so that when you open the door, there's the TP roll.

Going to take a look at that tomorrow and see if that might just work out...

The bathroom in our V-Lite 26WRB is the same as yours and we use the vanity cubby. It's very convenient and we just never saw the need to install the holder.

3 important things everyone with a camper needs: a TP holder, a paper towel holder and a garbage can. I can't figure out why the manufacturers don't figure these into their floorplans.

install your toilet tissue paper holder inside the door but you can keep the paper out by slipping it through the top of the door and feed it with the door closed. It work perfect like that.

Paper Location

I had the same question when I got my RV home. I installed it on the door as shown.
Two important Points
Use screws that will not penetrate through the door face
Install the holder low enough so the role doesn't hit the cabinet when the door closes [

Eaglelover: I did the same thing and this way it work perfect. The door can stay closed and the paper can be feed over the top of the door closed

We don't use toilet paper. Instead we use unscented diaper wipes. They come in a dispenser which sits on the counter (or in the sink while traveling). Used wipes go into the trash can next to the toilet. No paper down the toilet means no paper making the sensors misbehave.

wow .... This simply would not work for us! You evidently must not use your facility as "full service" bathroom. We have always been the kind to use our bathroom as fully intended, regardless of whether the tank sensors work or not. I rarely check our tanks anyway, although I'm still getting use to having 2 bathrooms, and 2 black tanks.

we bought a over the door paper towel holder and put it on the vanity door. It holds 2 rolls.
