White plastic in trim

I was wondering how you would replace the white plastic in all of the exterior trim. The problem is from the factory both ends are folded under the metal molding. How do they do that?

White plastic trim

They use a curved plastic that when new is fairly flexible.
Over time with age and UV exposure it gets more brittle.
You can take a heat gun on low setting and moving it along the trim a couple of inches up from it warm it and remove it. Be very careful not to get too close or stay in one spot too long, it can melt the strip.
Here is one place I found to maybe get some trim if you need to replace.

Vasnipe thanks for the reply. I have the material I do not understand how they can fold both ends of the material under the metal. I can understand the one end you fold it and start securing the metal but at the other end if the metal is secure how to get the plastic folded under so it looks factory.

How to tuck the ends in?

That is a good question.
You may be able to cut the trim an inch or two long and fold back under itself, and maybe by using a bit of heat to help the process tuck the doubled section into the rail.
Any help from a factory guy here?
Is there a better way to do this?
