Winterize micro mini 2016 21ds

We are first time owners of a travel trailer. We have never winterize before. My husband is having a hard time finding information on how to winterize our 2016 21DS. We have sent a email to the dealer and also have looked on line. We thought we would check here.

I winterized several weeks ago.
Drain the Hot Water Heater
Drain the Fresh Water Tanks
Turn 2 Valves, 2 at the Hot Water Tank, cold water in, Hot water out to off.
Turn valve at water pump, to direct pump to Anti freeze siphon inlet.
Make a short hose with male hose fitting to screw onto antifreeze siphon inlet.
Fill bucket with about three gallons of pink stuff, put hose end in bucket or siphon from gallon jugs.
Turn on water pump,Turn on each faucet (hot and cold) one at a time until pink come out, fill toilet too, don’t forget outside shower. Pour a little extra pink in each drain, and toilet.
Remove Battery, store indoors on wood not concrete.
Close all vents, lock doors and windows, cover if desired and wait until spring
If I forgot something, maybe someone else will chime in, Good Luck!

All I would add is open and drain the 2 (hot & cold) low point drains that are located under the trailer and typically have a decal on the lower skirting showing where they are located. This drains out most/all your water pipes. Once they stop draining, close these valves and continue as described above.

Open the bypass valve at the water heater when you shut off the cold in and hot out valves.

I realize this is an old thread, but the advice is still timely.

I just purchased my 21DS after having owned a 19' Fleetwood Mallard for 14 years.

To winterize, I drained all the tanks but never used the antifreeze stuff. I used to take my shop vac and suck all of the water out of the lines through the water inlet. I'm open to new ideas. Is this okay with the Micro-Lite?

Depends on where you live and who you ask.

We live in a climate where it gets below freezing for months.
One drop of water trapped in a toilet valve or faucet cartridge is all it takes to create havoc come spring. We drain, blow out with compressed air and would never think of winterizing without using antifreeze.
