You close your inlet valves to the W/H hot and cold and open the bypass, you also close your fresh water valve. Hook the hose in the connection and suck the pink stuff out of the bottle through you water pump. Open all the faucets and wait for pink to come out, let some go into your holding tanks and then that's it. Do not put it in your fresh water tank, just drain it. Pull your relief valve on your hot w/h and the take the galv. rod out and flush some water through it. Then you are done should take about 3 to 4 gals of the pink antifreeze. you will find these valves behind the w/h and you might need to remove a panel for access and then look for the fresh water valve it will be there pretty close and it will just be valve on a white hose not your plex lines. Hope that helps, takes about a 1/2 hr to do.
Yes...remove your water filter before you add antifreeze. It's a simple process. When you run the antifreeze out of your faucets, make sure enough gets into your p traps (kitchen, bathroom sink, shower. Drain your low water drains.

I also forgot your outside shower. Make sure to drain that too. Haha. It's still not a tough process. Just a lot of stuff to do. I have it down to about 10 minutes since I did it several times last winter. Even though there was snow on the ground, we still did a little camping.

Also burp you city water hose hookup outside once the unit is pressurized with antifreeze. Do this by removing the small screen and use something to poke in there to depress the back valve. there is usually water that stays trapped in there also.
