X-chock
Has anybody used the Bal X-chocks? Want to know how they work as far as stabilizing my TT. Also if it fits a flagstaff superlite. the tires look a little close though they say they fit as small as 1''3/8.

I use them and the make a difference. I would recommend. how close are the tires? my tires are 3" apart.

We've been using them for several years and are very pleased. They will take a lot of "wiggle" out of your setup. There are a number of threads on this forum for the X-Chocks, you may want to do a search for more info and more opinions. Either way they are a two thumbs up for us.

Just got a pair recently and by far the best money I have spent on my trailer!! make a world of difference in movement! Definately get them, mad I waited 2 years to get them is my only complaint!

I have them but the jury is still out. Only used them a couple of times. I think they work though.

They work great to stop the trailer from moving back and forth, just don't expect them to stop the bounce in the trailer if you have the rubber suspension. Long trailer with light weight frame and the rubber suspension equals flex in the middle. If you want to stop that you will need to put frame stabilizers between the wheels that are tightened against the frame similar to how you set the corner stabilizers. The flex does not bother us but when we take the SIL and her hubby because of her weight it is noticable when she walks around the trailer without the center stabs.

I just had a thought that may impact the economy. If everyone buys x-chocks, shouldn't we be concerned about putting the other guy out of business. The guy who sells the bumper stickers "If the Rigs a rockin, don't come a knockin"

Another vote for the X-Chocks. They work great and were the only ones that would fit on my camper. The only problem I have had was when we were on a hill the camper decided it wanted to creep a bit. I added some peel and stick stair tread abrasive and havent had a problem since.
I had a pair of aluminum frame jacks left over from an old pop up I use to support the middle of the frame and it really firms things up!

I have had a pair of the Ultra-Fab Deluxe Chock & Locks since 2006. To me, they have 2 advantages over the X-Chocks.
1. They are less expensive than the X-Chocks
2. Once properly adjusted, they are tool-less to install/use/remove.
