1/2 Sliding Storage Tray

Hi Everyone

Wondering who got the optional 1/2 Sliding Storage Tray?

If you did, do you like it? How well does it work?

Thanks

I had this on my first trailer. It was ok but it did take up some of the space and made getting larger items in and out a bit of a pain. We did not get it on our new trailer and use tubs to keeps things organized.

You can remove the tray but the base is still attached to the floor and gets in the way. I am much happier with out it

Unscrew the rails. Just screwed in with wood screws.

I sure like the one I made and installed. Makes getting things in and out of the basement so much easier. Of course I am lazier than most folks.

What did you use for the slider rails? Are there wheels in the rails

Leave it to Old Coot to have everything well organized and in its place;
whether in the shop or on the fifth.
Thanks for sharing your work and ideas, OC. The pics are always a big help, too.

Not all that well organized, most of the time the welding table and 8' bench are just piled full of ??? Just ask anyone that's been here, like Glenn or Weezer. It is a mess.

The Hatch/Door on your MINI is NOT like a Fiver Hatch/Door! The inside is much larger than the Opening,like Indymule stated,the Tray/Rail system takes up space that Prevents (TOTAL USE) of the storage area! Just remember,storage is a Premium! Youroo!!

Which doors are you referring to? The large one or the small one? Got pictures of the compartments themselves?
