1809S floor space

Can someone who has a Mini Lite 1809s close by measure the floor space indicated by the yellow below? I want to shop for an area rug (my TT is on order). Thanks!!

I don't have that measurement for you, as I have the 2109S, but here is something to keep in mind, if you did not know it -- If you have a rug in front of the sofa, when the slide out is out, when you slide it in, the sofa will be pushing the rug out of the way. So if you want to fill that area with a rug, you will need to fold it over out of the way when you bring the slide in.

We just use a 5' or 6' rug runner for the interior, so it can be moved over toward the kitchen in our 2109S when we move the slide in.

Thanks, F22. I had planned to fold the rug up before closing the slide.

Like F22, we have the 2109S and are using a 10 ft. long runner that has been cut in half so most of the floor area between the kitchen and sofa is covered and we can just move the piece closest to the sofa over the other one. Bought the runner at Lowes for about $30.

If I had just read this a few minutes ago I could have measured for you, however, we are ready to move so have everything closed up. Will check back later to see if anyone has been able to help you.

Thanks Emptypockets - I'm finding ways to occupy/amuse myself until the 1809s arrives, and decorating the interior is a fun diversion!

Answer is 86" x 43".

Slide couch will not interfere b/c it has a skirt that hangs down in front and carpet will simply go under it with no physical obstructions.

P.S. We actually like not having a carpet down the aisle b/c it makes it easier to just sweep out the dirt... just purchased a small 18"x30" rubber backed carpet to go in front of the door... just shake it out when dirty. Paid $5.97 at WalMart.

Thanks, FreedomTracker - I appreciate it! That is a bigger area than I thought!
