Unhappy 190XR Problems

My 190XR is four years old and has been OK after numerous initial problems were corrected.

Pop rivets pulled out of several items, propane hose/valve was plugged, door latch failed immediately, water heater flame goes out with any light breeze, electrical problems are numerous, wiring underneath is unprotected and hangs loose. These I have corrected or live with.

The winch system to raise and lower the top is my main complaint. Lifetime Warranty turned out to be One Year. The Powerwinch 55000 has a motor which has a life of about 20 cycles. You can't buy a new motor but must purchase a complete new winch. Rather than continue replacing this item every two years, I purchased a high quality battery powered Makita drill and use the manual lift provision. If you try to use the manual crank provided, you will see that it is worse than useless, taking HOURS to raise and lower the top.

Manufacturer should find a better supplier for this low quality component!

this post is about a popup and should have been posted in the Tent Camper section, not the 5th wheel/TT section.
the OP should get more help there.
