1998 rockwood 2502 manual

Just got a Rockwood 1998 T2502 w/o user manual. This is my first camper so I am not familiar with anything. Previous owner is deceased so I have no one to walk me thru it. I need a manual ASAP! Any ideas? Thanks

Most manuals are pretty generic but you can down load one possibly from the FR site or do a search for your manual. Later RJD

You can find manuals for most of the equipment on-line. Inspect each for make and model number, then do a search on-line. You should be able to find manuals for most items (although being 20 yrs old, maybe not?):

Fridge
Furnace
Water Heater
Microwave
Stove
Oven

I'm attaching a generic plumbing diagram. Your unit is 20 yrs old; I don't think they were putting winterization (anti-freeze) connections on them at that time; probably no water filter, either.

This manual will be for a 2018 model.
Yours is 20 years older so there may be some info that won't be relevant for yours.

There is no online resource for that old of a FR unit.
As was said, RV owners manuals are pretty much generic and have no model-specific information. Not even RV type-specific information.

My advice is to find some guide to RVs, like the Complete Idiots Guide for RVing.
That will be more helpful for a newbie, than the FR manual. It will only have basic RV systems information.

Thanks everyone. I was kinda hoping someone else owned a 2502 of same vintage that still had original manuals that i could buy a copy from. I will check in to the idiots guide. That sounds right up my alley!

My advice is go to an RV show and attend as many seminars as possible. The owners manual for my FR Signature Ultra Lite is atrocious. I have had it two years and still can't make the TV in the bedroom work.

I doubt the manuals were much better 20 years ago.

Hire a mobile Tech, pay him to check everything and show YOU. A manual will do squat for you, even The dummy book.

Thank you to everyone who responded. I am very rural and would have to drag camper 2hrs one way to get to a dealer or tech. I know the camper is old but it is still in good shape and most everything works. More than I can say for myself.
