We have a 2005 model 8283SS 5th wheel. Slider is a RBW carriage. Had a dealer adjust it a few years ago so it would level out and drop to match the lips up when extended. A year later, I thought the motor was getting bad as the motor would not lift it back up over lip. I have to use hand crank to bring the floor lip of the slider up over the trailer floor and then use motor to finish moving it in. After much help locating and ordering new motor and gear box, Still have the same issue. Clutch slips until I manually crank it up over the lips.
I can not find a dealer whom can adjust it again (Prior dealer went out of business) so looking for a manual or someone whom can tell me what to adjust to get through this issue.
Again, it is a RBW carriage.
