2007 Rockwood 8244S Mystery light switch

I just bought this used fifth wheel. It is in great shape except for there is one light switch (the middle in a group of three) in the galley when you enter the camper. The left switch gets the interior lights, the middle gets ???, and the right gets the outside stair nightlight.

Anybody have any idea what this mystery switch operates? Everything else seems to be working...

Look for small lights close to the floor near the door or in kitchen area.

In addition to a "porch" light most campers have a "scare" light mounted on the door side and up high near the front.

It could also be a light above your city water/sewer hose hook up on other side of trailer. Let us know when you find out.

No luck. I looked for some low lying interior lights and found nothing. Looked underneath the camper and found nothing. I had the switch on the other night and didnt see anything so whatever it is, it is out.

I used to be an electrical contractor so this is really bugging me.

We are going to go on our first trip this weekend so I'll be investigating all weekend.

Storage compartment lights, maybe? (The compartment lights usually have a glowing switch to remind you that you left them on, but it's worth a shot.)

Some of my switches, in a 2010 8244S, are duplicated at the actual light fixture. For example, there's a wall switch AND a switch on the light fixture. Both have to be in the "on" position before the light will work from either switch. Might that explain the issue?

As was said, since this thread is 8 years old and the OP hasn't posted here for for 6 years, not sure if anyone will respond. If you're asking the OP, you might have better luck by sending them a PM instead.
