2012 Mini Lite 2109S Add New Light

Last summer, DW cut herself bad while prepping food on the counter area to the left of the stove. The main reason was poor lighting in that area.
During a trip we stopped in at Camper World and I bought a single bulb light fixture to install in that area.
I completed that mod today. I tapped into the light fixture wiring on the light that is over the sink. I had to remove the microwave to access that light but it was overly difficult. For the wire, I used some left over #14 gauge wire from a house project. It was Romex so I stripped out the black and white wires. I was able to snake them easily between the bottom cabinet panel from new light to old.
I am now hoping for no more cut fingers!
