2013 rockwood 5th wheel

Good morning all ,
I just have to get this off my chest . we bought a 2013 Rockwood new 4 years ago yesterday . with that said it has been the worst thing I have ever done . I have had more trouble with this thing from day one . Getting ready this morning to leave for a 5 day trip guess what got a gas leak somewhere and cant find it . Ruin the whole trip and this isn't the first trip it has ruined . I have had with it and will be getting rid of it soon . My advice to all thinking of purchasing one save your money they are junk . Thanks for listening .

I feel your pain. It's not just Rockwood. It seems like all RVs (which were never great to start with) are getting worse and worse. Quality control, materials used, and engineering are all very poor when compared to, say, a car at a similar price point. Form takes a much higher point then function. What good are multiple slides and flashy electronics when they'll all be leaking or broken within 5 years? I'd rather pay more for a simpler but better made unit. Unfortunately, a lot of the companies that made those have either gone out of business or been bought up by one of the monster RV conglomerates. That leaves truly dependable RVs available only to those with a half million dollars to spend on a Prevost, etc.
