2016 vs 2015 Fresh water capacity

I was just browsing the 2016 Forest River Ultra Lite brochure and noticed the capacities for all the Fresh Water tanks were boosted to 43gal. The 2015 brochure lists them all as 36gal. Is this an increase in capacity or are they just adding the water heater capacity as they have in the past? Maybe they didn't list water heater 6gal as part of the 2015 specifications. I know that's a 7gal difference by the way, thought maybe they rounded their math up.

I'm pretty sure the 43 gallons includes the water heater. My 2017 2109s had both 43 gallons and 26 gallons listed in different places.

Also, if I remember correctly, the yellow sticker that has the factory weight, max cargo weight, etc, listed a weight for a full load of water and when I did the math it matched 36 gallon. LOL, funny, right?

The brochure for my Mini Lite 2503S says the FW "capacity" is 36 gal. My yellow sticker says a full load of water is 250 lbs @ 8.33 lb/gal. Doing that math comes up with 30 gal. So I believe my FW tank is 30 gal and my HWH is 6 gal.

Using that logic my tank must be 30 gal since my sticker states 250lbs. Thanks, that explains it. They must have increased the water cap in all the 2016's.

Don't trust your yellow load of water sticker, because it could be a load of BS .......When they sent the first Roo that we rejected, a 2016 built early december of 15 the yellow water capacity sticker said a full load of water weighed 249 lbs. By my math thats 29.85 gallons. The only small problem is the tank measured 28X54X6 which holds 39 gallons and if you added the 6 gallons in the heater you're looking at 375 lbs.

Crawl under and measure your tank.

Our new 2017 Roo has the same 28X54X6 tank and 6 gallon water heater yet the water stickers says 307 lbs. And you can get that tank completely full

Someone in Indiana needs to go back to math class

Good point. Don't believe anything you hear (read) and only half of what you see!
