2016 Windjammer 3029 TV - HDMI

I just looked at mine and my TV audio comes out the trailer speakers when I have the IRV on HDMI ARC (whatever that stands for). Much better sound than the TV speakers. I do not have SAT so I cannot help you there.

Not sure if you finally fixed this, but try using the audio out cables from your Satellite box to the TV. Then try the audio options on the IRV. I think the hdmi cable might be the problem.

I've had both the iRV66 and the Toshiba TV replaced. Now have Furrion TV. Both are connected with RCA pin cables and the SRC button had to be set to TV Audio. In the process of getting something workable, tried the OIS ( digital optical cable) and was able to make the iRV and Toshiba tv work. The SRC button had to be set to the DCC/OIS position. The Furrion tv doesn't have that capability. That may be a work around for you as well, as long as your TV has the optical plug in. For what we pay for these, you sure don't get components of any quality

Check to make sure the cables are connected to the right places. They connected ours backward with the cable on the IRV connected to the audio in on the TV.

I had some time in the camper to mess about with the tv and iRV 68 receiver. Turns out the hdmi from the iRV to the tv was connected to hdmi input 2 which is not arc capable. I switch to hdmi input 1 and selected hdmi arc on the iRV and now get tv sound through surround speakers.

Just for fun I also set up an old Xbox 360 harmony remote for the iRV and TV and it works great. Had to manual set up some buttons, but the main functions with one button on/off work great.

Optical

I added an Optical audio cable from my Toshiba TV to the IRV66, and use the DOT/DCC input.

It's better audio quality than the red/white stereo cables.
The 3/2/1 audio works when it is broadcast in Dolby Digital.

There is also a Coax audio input on the IRV66, if the TV has coax digital output.
And, my Sat. receiver uses this path for audio. The audio from it goes to the TV Via HDMI, and to the IRV66 via the Optical audio cable. Good sound all around.
