2019S OK to climb on roof?
Hi, all. We have a 2014 Rockwood 2109S. I need to get a look at the roof vent over the bed. It doesn't seem to be closing quite all the way on one side. Hasn't leaked (yet), but I would like to check it out. Is it OK to walk (or crawl) on the roof? Thanks.

I would sure hope so. My 2503S is coming with a ladder! (It's an option on yours, too.)

Just looked you unit up and you should be ok. Roof materiel can be very slick. walk gently so you don't slip.

Thanks for the replies, everyone. I'll give it a shot. I was mainly concerned about possibly damaging the roof, but it sounds like that's not an issue.

You can still damage the roof. That's why you have to be careful.

My 2109S came with a ladder on the back. Been up there a few times to check for debris on the slide out, etc. So far, no problem.

I had always heard that if the manufacturer put a ladder there, it is approved for roof walking. My 321BHTS is solid on top. Makes it easy to clean the top of my 3 slides before closing.

So I assume my 2104s is not approved to walk on. For some reason it's the only mini lite that does not offer a ladder. Which I thought was odd.

My 2109S did not come with a ladder, so that's partly why I was asking the question to begin with. Thanks, again for all your replies.

Our 2013 did not come with a ladder and I was told to be very careful because it wasn't built to walk on. But to put the cover on, I have to go up on top so I've learned to crawl around the roof and try to stay on the supports or near the edge. I've also gone up and resealed all the vents. So as long as you're careful, you can go up there.
