2020 2509s Version "2" is out.

It appears that the first changes to the 2020 models are coming out. They call this 2020 "Version 2" I was hoping that they would do away with the new Capital Grill, but no. A gas griddle appears to replace the outdoor portable grill.

Looks like the biggest change is radiant foil insulation, in the front, underbelly and slide, which may be a big help in hot places like Texas.

rear receiver hitch

35,000 btu furnace

tire pressure monitoring

water convenience center?

Nice...looks like the Blackstone griddle. Does anyone know which production date models will have this new option?

I have the TPMS. Build date 6/26/19. There's all I got on the list, though I never indirect the grill bag. Maybe there is a griddle in there.

I pick up the rig next Wednesday.

My wife and I are planning on ordering a 2509 early next year and I was planning on adding a black stone and a receiver hitch. Way to go rockwood! I found it silly that they offered two grills for their units. Now if I can only get them to add the sink back in the outdoor kitchen I would be set. Maybe I will scrap that capital grill and add my own sink.

I just picked up a 2020 2109S that was built on June 28. The 2109S should be getting many of the same upgrades. All mine has is the TPMS. It's nice to have the internal sensors, at least until the batteries in the sensors die like they just did in my TV.

I'd love to have the griddle instead of the grill I have if anyone knows a source.

Was the TPMS an option or standard?

The TPMS was standard. It's the TST model that was actually on my wish list. There was a package in the fridge that contained the color monitor, mount, power cable and standard instructions. The sensors are internal to the wheels instead of the valve stem models. The repeater is also pre-installed but I haven't seen where it is yet. Inside the owner's packet with all the manuals is supplemental instructions for programming the system to the sensors. System works great but I've only driven about 5 miles with it configured.

NOT to be confused with the Cable/Satellite Convenience Center!

I just picked up my 2509S and was excited to find that it came with the griddle instead of the RVQ. Trailer build was 7.18.19.

Ours is 2020 2509 but still has the silly BBQ, but also the new "outdoor grill grates" in place of propane elements.......not great for even heat ....sad.

I stopped by the dealer that had the 2509s 202 version 2 and the Capital Grill is gone! He says its been replaced with the standard 2 burner that had been there in the past. He says all 2020 version 2's will have the 2 burner stove.

The unit he had the rear hitch, and also a bicycle rack forward. I think the bicycle rack is an option.

Man I must’ve missed the boat by a few weeks tops on all this. Build date of 6/26 I thought I was sitting pretty as it was on the dealer’s lot for a few weeks tops. Very little traffic in my unit, never dragged out to a show, etc. But all I got was the TST Pressure Monitor; I definitely have that capital grill (which I’m going to search for a griddle that fits it as soon as I get the camper home to measure). I have no idea if my unit has the foil insulation upgrade either.

This is exciting news, can anyone else confirm that the capital grille is gone? 😯

I just got my 2509S build date 7/18/19.
- Capital Grill is gone, now with 2 burner stove
- Instead of RVQ, you get a griddle similar build as blackstone brand.
- Trailer hitch 2 inch receiver in the rear.

However...I the power inlet is now some generic brand. The furrion power inlet was removed. Don't know if it matters much since I'm getting an EMS/Surge Protector.

That's great news! So in guessing with the 2in receiver you can put any accessory that fits into a 2in receiver? Like a bike rack?
