2020 Rockwood 2608BS

We just picked up our new trailer. Does anyone know what the metal box under the bathroom sink is? I'm guessing it's for the WiFi?

Don't have access to the trailer at this time (Storage) Box looks like a PC upright?
Will take a picture as soon as I get access to the trailer.
Thanks

I looked at mine and I have the same box in the same location as the OP. It is made of plastic or some composite not metal. Not a sub but there is a red wire leading into the front bottom of the black box. I took pictures but am currently in a state park with poor cellular and I can’t get them to load.

We have a 2018 2608SB (not BS) but I'm pretty sure the set-up is the same. Ours is definitely the sub-woofer for the sound system. Turn on your radio .... turn up the volume and go in the bathroom ..... you should hear the bass very clearly coming from under the sink. Dumbest arrangement I've ever seen!

Should be the sub. I was at the factory last month when the were building the 2020 2608's and they were sitting on table waiting to get installed. Looked just like the box in the picture.

Well, Iíll be the uncle of a monkey. With an apology to FROtow and john a v I humbly agree that that mystery box is indeed a sub-woofer. I turned my stereo on and stuck my head under the sink and yep, a slight amount of bass was coming from the box.

I have noticed a partitioned off area under the bathroom sink in our 2020 Rockwood 2608BS but haven't investigated what it is. I will look the next time we are at our storage area. Here is another question...Is anyone else finding the lock to the exterior storage areas to be really, really difficult to get the key inserted? I find myself spending an inordinate amount of time and the lock refuses to let the key slide in. Any thoughts on what the problem or a solution would be???

Many thanks!

I have not had any problems with my storage bin locks. Probably a long shot but make sure youíre using the double cut key not the CH751 single cut key that fits the outside shower door. My storage bin key is marked R001.

I am using the right key but it is really, really hard to get it to insert in the lock. Once it slides into the lock, it operates properly.

Get some dry lube (graphite) and squirt into the lock.

DO NOT use WD40 or oil or anything like that.

We have just purchased a new 2608SB in New Zealand. Our locks were very hard to get the keys into initially until I puffed in some graphite powder and now operation of locks is smooth with easy key entry. Do not use CRC or WD40 in locks as this will only end up clogging locks with oily mess of dust and dirt.

Thanks for bringing up this issue. We have the same problem with our 2020 2608BS. It is slumbering in winter storage right now but I will be sure to follow your graphite suggestion next spring.
