2020 Rockwood Factory TPMS-TST

Have a new 2020 Rockwood on the way and have been looking on You-Tube to see if I can catch some changes ... found one with TST sticker on side and salesman said the yellow valve stem means TPMS inside .... shows it at about 12:30 minutes in ... Just hope it can be moved to my new Goodyear Endurance

Wouldn’t that be nice if as soon as you hooked up the 7-way to the TV the TV searched for additional sensors and displayed them with the TV’s monitor?
You’d think the technology was already there and just needing an enhancement.

I use Tire Minder. It works great and does the spare also.

We have the tireminder in our new trailer but the monitor wants me to sync to the sensors before I install them, I thought they were inside the tire.

All Rockwoods, Flagstaffs and Geo Pros (and possibly others) now come with the internal mount type of sensor and color monitor (as mentioned above) from TST. They didn't use stem sensors because they didn't want them stolen off wheels at dealer lots.

Ok, that's what I thought. Not sure why it doesn't detect the sensors. The start up guide has no mention of internal sensors.

Just wanted to confirm, it's standard. And they also give you a color monitor that you can throw in your vehicle for the tire sensors?

Must have been built after August 2019; my 2020 Geo Pro does not have them and the salesman contacted his FT rep who stated it was built prior to becoming standard.

The used 2020 2608BS that we just traded for is too early a build to have them (March 2019). But we already had them from our mini lite. TST is a GREAT company to deal with for sure!

I got the monitor working last night. I had to hold it next to each valve stem to pair them. I had to put a piece of sheet metal as a shield between the tires because it wanted to keep pairing the sensor in the other tire next to it. Once I did that it all synced up.

Does anyone know what TST model number is installed on 2020 Rockwoods? I would like to add them to my 2018.

It's the 507 with color display and internal sensors. Truck Systems Technologies doesn't sell a kit with that configuration on their web site but I'm guessing they'd be happy to assemble a kit, if that's what you really want.
507 Series - 4 RV Cap Sensor TPMS System with Color Display
You can find opinions about the different types of sensors (cap, flow-through or internal) elsewhere on FRF. FR chose internal sensors to prevent theft on dealer lots. You'd have to dismount the tires to accomplish the same.
507 Series - Internal Sensor
Also, the batteries on the internal sensors are not replaceable. From the sales manager at TST: "The batteries should last 4+ years in the Internal Sensors. When the batteries do fail you will have to purchase a new sensor, break down the tire, and replace the sensor."

You can find the same products sold by TST on Amazon for $50 less.

Thank you Chris. It does look like TST sells in internal sensor kit. It's a little pricey, but better than a blowout.

That kit is a monochrome monitor, not color.

Have you considered a cap or flow-through sensor? Because you can buy them on Amazon you can save money on purchase, installation costs nothing, you can replace the batteries if they die, and you can take it with you for another application.
