2109,2511 undecided on these two rigs

We are looking at the 2109 and 2511. We don't particularly like the slide door to the bathroom though the size of the rig certainly sufficient. The 2109 smaller but like having lots of drawers in the kitchen also the glass/plastic shower enclosure vs the flexible shower closure in the 2511. My wife really likes the smaller 2109 and for those of you who have this rig do you find it sufficient for a couple. We plan on traveling a lot this year and hope to make a decision within the next couple of weeks. Any modifications appreciated also.
Thank you,

My wife and I have a 2109 and love it. We don't feel the need for a large camper and have no complaints about this one. We have one daughter that will sometimes stay with us occasionally and she sleeps on the sofa.

Mods include digital thermostat, 2" memory foam topper, 6" bed extension, wooden toilet seat and black cardboard over bedroom 3 windows.

You're talking a difference of about 1100 lbs in weight and 4 ft in length. You don't say what you're going to pull them with, but in either case, make sure your tow vehicle is not overloaded.

Longer units are a little bit harder to get into some places. But since most people seem to move "up," you might be better getting the 2511S. Bigger bathroom, pantry, more kitchen space.

For the 2511S bath, they do make foldout shower curtain rods that give you a little bit more room. It flips in when not using it and flips out to give you more room when showering.

In the end, only the two of you can decide what works best for you.

Thank you,

It is perfect for a couple-we have taken several three week trips.
We ordered ours without the oven for more cabinet storage!

Have you looked at the 2304KS kinda mid sized in between, great storage and a good size bath. We love the extra counter space behind the sink and stove and a good closet and linen in the bathroom.

The first Rockwood that I walked into was a 2109s. I really liked it. We ended up getting the 2504s. Looking back, I’m glad I did. It will be much longer before we move up in size. Have you and the wife looked at other “25” models ? I would recommend that you go inside each one before buying anything. Are you aware that some models have options that replace the dinette? Of course the final decision is what will make both of you happy. One advantage that I think the 2109s has the easy way you can get to the fridge when on the road. Jay

That’s the funniest thing I’ve heard all day.

I don't get it! What's the point of your post? What's hilarious?

If you can't say something nice .... don't say anything at all!

2304ks

We chose the 2304ks. Has plenty of storage, a little bigger with nice sized bathroom and with the murphy bed you get a sofa for relaxing and don't need to sit at the dinette!

We also chose the 2304ks pretty much of the points Burnking made.

it was a joke, basically saying that only one person will be happy.
