Not sure if all brackets are the same, it helps if the tanks are mounted using the outside notches to hold down the tanks. The cover fits very snug.

I put a bungee cord on mine before I left the dealer. I just so happened to have a short bungee in the tool box of my truck. I asked when I picked my brand new 2504s up and got the same answers as others "it will never come off". I didn't want to take the chance.

I haven't lost a cover yet but have lost the little lid on two different covers after upgrading from the original cover. I'm tired of buying new covers so I stopped using the lid and have gone back to just removing the cover when need be.
Great choice for "Living within my means" and camping for one...

Just hook a small bungee from eyelet to eyelet under cover simple.
