I put in a corner shelf assembly - basically a pole that wedges from floor to ceiling in the corner next to the toilet. It has triangular wire shelves and I have the toilet paper on the bottom shelf where it is easily accessible.

Toilet paper holder

I bought one of the con-cave holders and cut a hole in the vanity door and mounted it there. Sticks out a lot less and is out of the way.

Mounted ours on the cabinet door inside under sink. Toilet paper no longer gets wet. Just open door and paper is with in reach.

I mounted mine on the wall right next to the toilet, just above my left knee. Works great.

I sat on the head and reached to the easiest reach and mounted it there. I have to put a very small bungee around it during travel learned it will unroll

Try stuffing the end of the roll into the tube.

This works great. Next is a new Domestic 320 toilet and a towel rack in the shower.
