2109S Outside Rail
Question for the 2109S owners...do you have trouble attaching the table or grill to the rail on the outside of the camper? Mine is very close to electrical outlet and it's hard to get anything on or off the rail without some struggle.

Mine is the same way. I leave the table and grill at home.

Are you tilting whatever you're putting on the rail up towards the camper? That works for me.

strat56, I'm not sure what you mean. Do you tilt it up as you slide it on the end of the rail?

You can put it on without sliding it from the end.

Thanks Turbs, I didn't realize that. Does it just hang from the top edge?

That's what I get for being a newb. Here I was thinking that it had to slide on from the end of the rail when I could just hang it on there. LOL!
Thanks for educating me.

That little table weighs too much for the little usable space and I use my coleman portable stove if I cook outside the trailer.

Yep table just hangs there. I use it as my out door TV connection is there. When I bought my new camper I just made them give me a credit for the stove. It's about worthless and dangerous. Later RJD

We don't use the grill but we do use the table all the time; it comes in very handy.

The older models slide on from the end. The newer ones use the tilt on method. Don't know exactly when it changed. Our 2012 Roo had the slide on. Our 2016 Mini Lite has the tilt.

How is it dangerous and what is your basis?
We've used ours for 7 yrs hanging on the rail and no evidence of any harm to the trailer or awning which is always out while it is in use.

I'm pretty sure mine just hangs from the top edge. I don't THINK it clips. (I've only used it once, so bear with me.)

My old 05 flagstaff tt as well as my 11 sabre 5th wheel have the same rail.
If you lift the bottom of grill mount and set top in the upper groove then bring mount down it will lock into rail.
Done it a hundred + times. [emoji6]
To dark to take pictures tonight.
Tomorrow.

The hanger is C shaped and once it clips over the top, the bottom goes under the bottom of the rail. If you look closely, the bracket is curved on the top and L shaped on the bottom.

Always curious as to why peoe don't use the grill on the bracket. This is our 5th year. Never had an issue with it melting the TT or the awning.

If it's the same old rail they have been using for years. Just tilt it on. Mine is 2012. My neighbor has a 2015 same rail.
