Just bought a 2014 2109S Rockwood TT. I questioned why the slide was not flush with the exterior wall. I was told they aren't meant to be because of the rubber seal. I also looked at another 2109 and it was the same way. Doesn't seem to be any air leakage, but I have never seen a slide that was not flush. What do ya think?? Thanking in advance.
I have a 2012 2109S and never had a problem with any leakage. I do maintain the seals with the silicone spray to keep them supple and check the top of the slide for debris before closing.
