2109S water pump

Winding down a six week trip so far ranging from home in Florida to Bar Harbor Maine and many points in between. Stopped at a Walmart in Virginia for the first time tonight. We are within 2 hours of tomorrow's stop in Raleigh NC. I was proud that I remembered to put water in the fresh water tank when leaving a campground in Pa this morning, however when we got here tonight the switch for the water pump lights up but no water pumping! This is a new 2014 and have used every system on the trailer except this one. Doh! Too dark to dig thru the books and try to find where the pump is tonight. Bought a couple gallon jugs in WM for flushing and after a long day on the road will sleep good tonight.
Anybody have a similar problem?

Water pump is located driver side forward storage on the front wall of the trailer. My guess is it's still set up to winterize. Look for a three way valve going into the water pump and make sure the handle is pointed inline with the line going into the pump and not towards the side of the camper. That should make sense when you look at it.

Maybe in daylight you can locate the pump (run dry is ok) by running and carefully listen outside opening doors till you locate it.

Thanks for the replies. I figured it would be in the front compartment near the water filter . I'll dig around in there later this afternoon. Thanks!

Good description Raspivey. Found the pump in what would be the "normal" position. I cycled it to the other position and after trying to get water from tap, put it back and pump runs and have water now. I assume there was some air trapped in system as there was a lot of sputtering at first. Works good. Thanks for the help guys !

I get that air issue as well. I always fill the water lines getting all the air out with the city water connection before I leave.

I hope Maine was good, we like the Blackwoods campground in the National Park.

Maine was fantastic. I have been there before but not with an RV . We stayed in a few places there but not in blackwood campground ( we were doing full hookups) Bar Harbor CG was especially nice and had awesome ocean views. We have been working our way south and had a few great days on cape cod ( whale watching = great). Took scenic route 81 south thru western Va and staying with family a few days in Raleigh. That was the first time I had used the fresh water tank. I will know to fill it all the way up next time

I just fill the water lines, getting all the air out before I leave home.

Sounds like a super trip. Now it is time to start planning the next one.
