My friends RV has a stat and no ducts.

There is a duct vent behind the TV and the cover for the AC unit looks to be to small to suck and blow from the same vent so it looks ducted.

As someone else posted, if you have round movable vents in the ceiling, it is a ducted unit.

Duh, that would be a furnace thermostat, not an AC thermostat as Glenn posted.

That they are saying it is ducted as you say Raspivey but that the ducts but no vents? Oh gosh.
If they're insisting, I wouldn't worry too much about it at this point. As was posted before, the video definitely has no ducting, but the pic posted looks just like mine and is. I'm almost willing to bet the order process just says "ducted air" and doesn't mention a size so, when you ask them they just look at the order and see it listed something like "standard equip: 13.5K A/C" and "options: ducted air" (which, if you look at the FR website it lists as a 15K unit). I think you'll be OK.

Really?

No, it has a thermostat that controls the AC and it has no ducting. You can't go by the presence or absence of a thermostat to make this determination.

Outlets in the ceiling is a good way.

Pictures please. Have never seen a thermostat that controlled an ac that wasn't ducted in an rv.

Well we are really hoping that RVWholesales are true to their word. I see really good things said about them in various places.
