2306 Air Conditioning Confusion?

ON our upcoming 2306 it shows that there is a 13,500 air conditioner. Apparently it is not considered a "ducted" air conditioner but it does have some in ceiling openings for the a/c. Isn't this considered ducted? Hate to sound stupid.. but Ö..

just looked at FR's specs for the 2306 and a YouTube tour of one and it doesn't have ducted a/c.
it has what's often called "BFC or Blast From the Center" a/c.
i saw no evidence, in the video, of any a/c duct vents on the ceiling.
ducted a/c usually has a flat/flush grill where the a/c is and numerous round ducts that have louvers and can be directed by rotating them.

you could post pics of what you're referring to as ceiling openings, to figure out what they are.

When you say upcoming, I assume you don't have it yet and are going by pictures, invoice, and dealer info. The 13.5 is standard equipment. The ducting comes with the 15K upgrade. It's my understanding that the ducts are in all of the roofs, but the vents aren't added unless the appropriate AC is installed. The 13.5 models don't sit flush to the ceiling, whereas the 15K models do.

That explains it possible. This is from RVWholesalers. I wanted ducted a/c and that when I saw the one unit on line they were talking about I said roof a/c. I told them that was a deal breaker. The salesman said it was ducted and sent me an e mail saying this. Another rep sent me one confirming this yesterday due to my concern. Perhaps I am being scammed? That they are saying it is ducted as you say Raspivey but that the ducts but no vents? Oh gosh.

If your unit comes with an a/c stat then it would be ducted. All bottom drops come with the controls on the unit. Ask your dealer what kinda of stat it comes with. A/C and Heat or just heat.

I have a ducted 13.5 AC. Would like to swap it with a 15, but I don't think the electrical system could handle it.

Your electrical should be able to handle it we are talking only a couple of amps running at full load difference. What manufactor do you have? If you look up like durothrem the max load rating is only 1.2 amps difference at full load between 13.5 and 15,000 btu.
