Talking 2306 Murphy Bed Mattress Size?

Thanks to all those who helped us with other questions. With our 2306 not to be delivered until Nov. 6th we are trying to make preparations. Pretty much have everything (we think) in order except the mattress situation. We are getting the one with the Murphy bed. We have a custom mattress from our previous trailer that is a short queen, well made and 8" thick. Not sure if it will fit but we will try. But also so something from another forum that mentioned the 2306 had a full queen size mattress (not a short?) Confused about that but perhaps that is the one without the Murphy bed?? Hate to give up the heated mattress that will come with it but I don't think it is thick enough for what I need for my disability. But the question is whether my custom short queen mattress will fit on the Murphy bed frame? . If you have any other opinions or suggestions in owning the 2306 it would be greatly appreciated ! We think we are going to be thrilled with it and would love your opinions !! Thank you!!

The Rockwood book says the 2306 Murphy bed is 60" x 74", which is considered a short queen. A standard queen is 60" x 80" I believe. Using you thicker mattress I think you should still be able to fold the bed up with out any problems.

It is definitely the short Queen. I'm guessing the mattress is 4" or so thick and we have a 4" memory foam on top of that, so an 8" short queen should fit perfectly. Our memory foam is a standard queen, so it extends a bit over the top and bottom... It gives us a full queen comfort on a short queen frame... And standard sheets fit too!
The 2306 without the Murphy bed is also a short queen, I believe.
