I really like this 2506S model with outside kitchen, but wish the dinette was instead a couch with fold out bed inside. And a standalone table that could be in front of it, or moved elsewhere or outside. Not sure I could have a trailer where the only place to sit on rainy days was a dinette.

Same as Rockwood Mini Lite 2506S. We looked at this unit and at first seemed so roomy, but really just a lot of empty space, not enough storage...not a good layout in my opinion.
Take a look at the Rockwood Mini Lite 2503S murphy bed. This is one we ordered.

We're very happy with ours. We still have cabinets we haven't filled!

Extra question. Has anyone installed a fireplace in their 2506? I was thinking of installing one beneath the TV. Whatcha think?

Looks like great spot for fireplace..I'm sure it could be done! But I would think instead of a dinette, that would be great spot for 2 reclining chairs!! Another Mod maybe???

A fireplace?!?! I was just thinking of this exact thing the other day! That would be really nice. How would you do it? Would it void your warranty? Our 2506 is only 6 months old, and our dealer said no mods until it's out of warranty!

Thanks all. I checked with service and a FP would go into the bathroom. No room under the tv.

What about a free standing fireplace/heater?
QVC has some nice ones

I installed one under the tv in our 2504s, but the wall may have more depth than the 2506s. I still think you could do it because mine is only about 5" deep or so. I don't think it would stick out any further than the tv/sound bar and I would put a vent behind it on the bathroom wall. As far as warranty, I don't see how its really any different than plugging in any other electric heater.
