Aviator,
I had the same problem finding the Wi-Fi Ranger switch on my 2706WS. On mine, it was an unlabeled switch on my main switch panel. There was a small wi-fi Ranger decal on the wall just under the switch. The whole wi-fi Ranger assembly is located on your roof.

Can the WiFi Ranger be added after market? Any idea the cost?

Also anyone used theirs to see how much of a difference it makes pulling in a signal than without it?

Yes, you can add the WiFi Ranger as aftermarket. Go to their website for information. It's just a wifi booster, base level. They have more sophisticated models. Many companies make this kind of product. The main advantage here is that it is factory installed on the roof with the cables run internally.

I haven't used mine extensively, but it seems to work as advertised. It does a good job of boosting a weak wifi signal. I can get a decent signal as I walk around outside the trailer. You have to log onto the wifi ranger, then pick one of the wifi networks it sees. Log onto that network (or just connect to a free one) to connect to the internet.

They product on my trailer is the sky3. If you go to wifiranger.com, then click on the OEM link, you'll see the sky3 compared to the other products. It lists a range of 0.5 mi., 2.4 Ghz. We did not get the "pack" version with the external USB/ethernet box.

All these boosters do nothing when some of your neighbours start streaming Netflix or whatever and that chokes down the bitrate.
