2601SS. A few questions.

Hello all, glad I found this place.

We recently sold our 2003 Salem 22BH, and are currently looking at a 2601SS. Our dealer doesn't have any in stock yet, but I was wondering if anyone is familiar with the 2601SS, to ask a few questions.

Our the 26" bunks wide enough?? Our Salem's top bunk was 31" wide. 26" doesn't seem like much to me. Our oldest will be 4 in July, but we are wondering about a few years down the road.

Does the wardrobe across from the bunk have drawers or is it just a closet. Again, with our 22BH, the wardrobe had 3 drawers below a closet.

If I get the 15" LCD TV upgrade, where do they put it?? Is it in the classic TV shelf location, angled above the dinette?? Or is it elsewhere??

Can you get a TV shelf in the 'Master Bedroom'?? I'm thinking No, since their isn't really a corner to mount it, but not sure.

Any info is greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Bunk sizes

We considered this model before we bought our Surveyor SV-291. The main reason we decided against it was the bunk sizes. We tried them out and found them to be awfully narrow, really only suited for small children. You'd be surprized what a difference 5" can make. Other than that we felt it was a nice unit, sorry I can't address your other questions.
