2703WS Storage Lighting

Have any of the owners of the 2703WS installed a light(s) in your storage area? Seems kinda funny that the design left this feature off but...
I was thinking about installing a run of LED's on the Aft side but have not figured out which wires I can tap into to slave off the 12v from. Any suggestions?

I have a light in the front storage of our 2703WS. Nothing on the water heater side. I don't store anything on that side because of all the wiring and other sensitive things that are there.
The light is located at upper right area when looking into storage bay

Interesting...What year is your unit? Mine is a 2014.

I have a 2014. You are talking about the area in the very front under the bed, right?

I use Harbor Freight, motion activated, LED, battery powered in all 3 compartments, comes in handy at night.

Funny that some of you do have a light from the factory and some don't.. Must have been a 'Running Change'!!!

I forget it's there since it is out of sight. I have used it maybe 3 times in 14 months.

2013 had no light. I installed one of the dual led lights to the aluminum tubing on the bottom of the bed. Can't remember where I tapped into the 12v, but it had to be right there in the compartment.

I would have to check. I know you have 12 volt at the water pump area.

We have a light in the storage area as came from the factory, it is identical to the interior ceiling lights. Ours is a 2015 model.

I slaved off the 12 v switch for the front stabilizer. Now I have 12v LED and I can SEE!!!
Will post pictures when I get a chance...

I installed LED strip lights with "AA" battery pack velcro'd inside. Works perfectly.

Strange. Our 2014 Rockwood Ultra Lite 2608WS has LED storage bin LED lights in all bin areas. Same as the interior LED lights.
