8265ws

I am in the process of buying a Rockwood 8265WS and was wondering if anyone had any feed back on this 5th wheel. I would like both good and bad.
I am towing with a 07 Tundra TRD 5.7 and tow package.

Congratulations. We just ordered a 8289. Looked at the 8265, but wife liked the 8289 better. Hence, the 8289. LOL

We have a 2010 28-foot, and we just love it. Top-notch fit and finish, and very few problems. And it pulls like a dream.
But remember that you are buying a lightweight, so you won't be pulling a boat or anything else behind it. The frame is very light.
I think you will be very happy with your choice.

We have had our Rockwood 8280ws for 18 months. It is almost the same as the unit you are wanting. We like our's very much. No real big problem's, just the same small one's most camper's have from the factory. We pull with a Ford F150 with the heavy duty cargo package and a 5.4 gas engine. The 5.4 pull's at posted speed's except in the mountain's. I do not mind as there is much to be seen at slower speed's, but I am retired. This seem's to be a problem to the speed demon's with diesel's, thank heaven's for passing lane's so I can pull over and let them speed on by. Hope you enjoy you new rv. Good luck and safe travel's.

We also just ordered a 8265ws with a Dodge Hemi to pull it. We had a 2005 Rockwood but taking it to Florida for 3 months was just too cramped so we decided to get something a little bigger. We have been very happy with Rockwood and hope our new unit is built just a well as our old one.
