But we've got an excellent top and canvas guy who will probably do them for less than the dealer. In the meantime, I bought my wife a WORX cordless blower and an aluminum ladder, and that works pretty good!

ROTFLMAO had to read it twice to realize why you bought the DW a blower and ladder, too funny

I guess i paid more at $37k for my 2015 last year. 2 A/C's, awnings, toppers...lots of options. Still felt I got a pretty good deal when it was a little over 50K on the sticker (or at least I thought so till I saw your prices lol)

We paid 34.5 for ours, 2015, 2nd AC, Diamond pkg and most of the options. That included a new Reese hitch installed.
Think we got a decent deal.

Yea. The only thing we did not get was the 2nd AC. But it is 50 Amp wired. Think I am gong to buy and install a 2nd AC. All of our camping is in California in the summer time. We have every option except the 2nd AC and slide out awnings.

I had a 2013 EcoBoost SC but found it was a challenge with my 8289WS. Traded it for an F250 Super Duty diesel, much more relaxed camping experience and a larger margin of safety.

You really don't need the 2nd ac. I found that the one AC worked just fine to cool the bedroom a few weeks ago when it was 90 out but I like it super cold so I am going to install the 2nd one. Now as for a ecoboost I could not tell you I have 2 duramaxs I can pick from to tow.

I agree I think 1 AC unit keeps the rig comfortable but that also depends on your destination. I had a '13 EcoBoost SC and towed once, approx. 1,000 kms (600 miles). I went back to Ford and traded it for an F250 Super Duty diesel. What an awesome difference and a great margin of safety. Much more relaxed camping experience.

Yea I agree. Diesel is the only way to go. 1500's really are not made to tow a 5th wheel. I would never feel comfortable towing with a 1500.
