8299BS light question

our 2018 8299BS has a light outside the bathroom and outside the bedroom,
it is right at the top of the stairs. we can not find a switch that turns it on
does everyone have this same light? if so can you turn it on?
thanks

Our sister model 8529IKBS Flagstaff has a switch for that light in the control panel.

Ours is labeled "entry light".

The one marked "aisle light" is for the small light at the inside steps.
Step and porch are for the outside.

we think it is great ! there is only the 2 of us in it so we do not feel crowded at all. I mounted the dish receiver behind the tv so it is hiddden. put doors on the other side of the island under the sink and put doors on both of the cabinets by the recliners. we decided we wanted to travel a little more so we got a new truck and the 8299 at the same time. it is a very nice set up. We went for the B&W hitch, the truck was WAY too much money but it pulls like a dream,
this was last week as we were ready to pull out for a week. had a great time and just got back home. now to unload and clean it all
oh well

Be careful with the entry door...the wind caught mine and open it all the way against the furnace exhaust vent, and put a big dimple in it before I realized it. Love the trailer, 2017......Happy camping....

I have a 2017 8299BS and we love it with the caveat that I am a handy person and something is always breaking:

Any idea why the bottom right panel of the counter is vented through to the storage area? Only thing in it is a vent pipe. The linen closet is not vented where the convertor sits. Wondering if they put my converter in the wrong spot. Love the 8299bs.

That's the air return for the furnace which sits in the storage area behind the panel(s).

Ohhhhh crap. Well that makes sense. Never thought about that. I was "mouse proofing" and closed off the back side, thinking to myself, there has to a reason for this. Thanks for the reply. Guess I'm off to plan B on that one.

I covered the back side of mine with wire screen with 1/4" mesh holes for the same reason.

Tyvek RV cover allows the mice to shinny up to your Dometic fridge vents. My fridge is in the slide so fixing to pick up a second set of the 20” vent fridge screens to keep the little vermin out.
