I have the 8312 2016 year. I liked the 8311 but was too wavy with the third slide out. I like the 8312 with the bigger outside kitchenClick image for larger version

Did I buy an unpopular model? Is there some giant flaw in this trailer that everyone but me (and 8 others) can see?

Just thought it was weird that there are tons of threads on every model under the sun, except mine.

Anyway,
Just purchased a 2017 Rockwood 8311ws and got it home on Monday. It's our first ever TT and we are looking forward to many days and nights of outdoor fun in our future! We are going to a local state park this weekend for the "shakedown cruise", DW has been having a blast at Dollar Tree and Walmart buying stuff to outfit the camper.
This thing is gonna put me in the poor house before I even make the first payment!
Congratulations on your purchase! I hope you have many enjoyable outings.

We looked at the 8311ws and were impressed with the quality of the Rockwood build, which led us to further investigate their other floorplans. Since we didn't need the bunkhouse option, we went with the 8329ss. It fits us perfectly and in the 18 months we have owned it we have spent 141 nights (and counting) camping. By the end of this year we anticipate our total nights to be exactly 200.

I hope yours serves you as well, but I know what you mean about the poor house. We are constantly getting deliveries from Amazon with more stuff for the trailer.

I like it a lot. Small minor issues worked out after the purchase .after that and a little assertiveness with the dealership we havent been back in 6 months. I replaced the China bomb tires with good years because I don't want a war story to come true with a blow out. Just be careful with them.
This is a great TT and rock wood in my opinion is the nicest out there. Nice roof warranty and easy to maintain. Happy. camping

Feel free to reach out, they are laid out very similar

Very nice looking rig! And they did the outside kitchen right. I can't tell you how many outside kitchens we've seen that either don't have a stove, don't have a fridge, or don't have a sink. You need all three or your outside kitchen is useless. Again, sharp trailer! Have lots of fun!

I like the one's that make you reach over the sink or stove to access the fridge - NOT!

I also really like the outside storage compartment below the dinette, it seems like you never have enough storage. A Nother nice feature of this trailer is the wardrobe slide very nice for clothes or a laundry basket.
Since yours has a wardrobe slide, can you get dimensions for me? Does it look similar to my picture? I'm looking to get an insert for a Christmas present but have no way to get measurements at the moment.
